The List: Embrace It Houston Style `

January 12, 2016

YOU GUYS THIS LIST IS AMAZING.  Thanks to you lovely people, I've got the best Houston/Texas bucket list ever.  Thanks to the fabulous contributors! (See something that isn't on here but should be?  Let me know!)

I actually had the opportunity to already check one thing off the list this weekend.  My bestie from childhood came into town and we partook in the Vietnamese fries from Bar Boheme and OHMUHGOSH they were incredible.  Lisa being here to check off the first item was PERFECT because she was with me on my first official night in Houston.  The pile of fries was larger than my head, doused in Sriracha, garlic mayo, and a bunch of other amazing things.  They were life-changing and wonderful and I'll probably put them back on the bucket list over and over so I can eat them again and again.

I know a bucket list doesn't speak to everyone's personality, but I'm incredibly excited about it.  I am excited about taking time to tackle each and every thing.  This is my way of taking control of my surroundings and honoring this beautiful season God threw me into.  I need structure.  I need a goal.  And let's BE REAL...what's more satisfying than crossing words off of a list?

So - I am choosing to explore and experience.  And I'm excited to share this journey with you.
